With a week (or less!) until the final EU vote on the #CopyrightDirective, 130 European businesses call on the Parliament to reject it and save Europe's Internet from mass surveillance by US Big Tech

I'm wondering if there is any tip for not having whole in my timeline with #fedilab?
If i open back fedilab after 4h. I have the current hour only but no way to get messages between 2 and 4h.
I don't know if it important but i don't google services. Thank you

🦁 I'll be in Lyon(France) for signing session and a conference at
@jdll ! Blog post:

Do you have any suggestion of a photo manager program which identifies picture using tags / description.

My goal is to create a personal references pictures library for drawing. In order to find quickly references I've selected myself.

I'm testing TagSpaces but I'm not 100% happy with it (mostly ergonomy).

It could be great that software is available on desktop (linux) and smartphone (android) using a file synchronization.

Thank you

@valvin Tropy is what you need 😀 It's meant for managing research photos and archival documents but I also use it to organise illustrations for video projects, and for personal photos. You can tag and describe photos, group them into objects, and add all the metadata you want (and search through all of this). Plus it's #opensource and available on Linux 😀

@Marie-Alice ☣ oh i don't know this one i'll have a look thank you

@valvin @kemonine you've done some extensive work here trialing photo management software haven't you? or am i misremembering?

sorry of this CC is of no use in advance.

"Yes". I use Lightroom for my photog library with tags and clarifai plugin I wrote for secondary tagging for stock photo uploads.

What Valvin pointed to actually looks like something I would use as an alternative.

Would be interesting if there was a Clarifai or Microsoft Vision plugin for it but overall... I can't be of additional help.

We've only got days to go before the final vote on the #CopyrightDirective and we're still hearing assurances from its apologists that #Article13 will only force copyright filters on "the largest Internet platforms"—but that's not true.

Tonight I've tried to "quick" #sketch this lovely ballet women with #krita There are mistake mistakes in proportions but I'll do better next time. I'm happy to have spent 45min on this drawing 😀 #drawing #mywork
